Canadians are supporting lasting change worldwide through the pandemic

For Children Believe, it’s more important than ever to work with partners and governments to help vulnerable people around the world weather the pandemic. And, the Canadian government continues to provide much-needed support, as noted in a recent video they’ve shared.

“We’re fighting hunger and enabling access to nutrition for the world’s most vulnerable, making sure all children have access to quality education, defending women’s rights,” says Karina Gould, international development minister for Canada. “It’s clear now we will not be safe in Canada until the rest of the world is healthy and safe again.”

For Children Believe, government support coupled with dedicated single donors are making it possible for us to help children, families and communities around the world overcome COVID-19. We’re providing lifesaving education, personal-protective equipment, food rations and cash vouchers, child protection and education supplies.
