Children Believe is a Canadian independent registered charity, which manages and directly funds program activities in our countries of operation. We hire nationals in our field offices to ensure supporter’s donations are making the biggest social impact possible.

The financial breakdown

Your trust is important to us. The Audit and Risk Committee of Children Believe’s Board of Directors reviews our financials quarterly. Independent publicly licensed auditors also audit and certify our work annually.

Children Believe is one of just 200 charities accredited through Imagine Canada’s Standards Program. It assesses Board governance, financial accountability and transparency, fundraising, staff management and volunteer involvement.

As part of The Canadian Association of Gift Planners, we work with the only organization in Canada that connects charitable representatives with donor advisors in one professional association.
