Children can change the world, one idea at a time

Watch inspired young people making a difference in their communities

When given the opportunity to learn and dream, children can achieve amazing things. We see that every day in our programs, and the video below from variety show, Wonderama, reminds us how inspired children can change their world for the better.

One 12-year-old inventor explained how she’s doing just that. She shared her products, which caught the attention of organizers from the national Invention Convention in the United States. “It’s water-dissolvable plastic bags and water-dissolvable (plastic) soda rings, because 13-million tonnes of plastic trash gets dumped into the ocean every year,” she says.

Education can help spark creative ideas and empower children to be imaginative. In our programs, we encourage kids to be active, engaged citizens, by expanding their networks, providing leadership opportunities and more.

With a bit of encouragement, every young dreamer can make a difference and inspire others to believe in their aspirations. Join us today to learn more about how you can help children achieve their dreams through an educational gift.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.

About Childfund Alliance

A member of ChildFund Alliance, Children Believe is part of a global network of child-focused development organizations working to create opportunities for children and youth, their families and communities. ChildFund helps nearly 23-million children and their families in 70 countries overcome poverty and underlying conditions that prevent children from achieving their full potential. We work to end violence against children; provide expertise in emergencies and disasters to ease the harmful impact on children and their communities; and engage children and youth to create lasting change and elevate their voices in decisions that affect their lives.
