Finding resilience amidst adversity

Watch for a reminder of the hope supporters provide every day to vulnerable people around the world

It’s been a difficult year, and we’re continually lifted up by the stories of vulnerable people we support around the world who are working together to help on another. It’s why we were moved by this song by mother and son.

“You’re broken down and tired of living life on a merry-go-round and you can’t find the fighter, but I see it in you, so we’re going to walk it out,” sings Jordan Rabjohn and his mom in this cover of Andra Day’s hit.

At Children Believe, we’ve been hearing stories of communities launching kitchens for the most vulnerable in their midst and youth in our programs raising money to buy care packages to deliver to their peers with help from our staff. The leadership training our supporters make possible is building amazing resilience.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
