How we help children realize their rights

See what rights are important to children and how we make them possible for many

A big part of what we do is helping children know their rights, so they can effect change and be better protected. It’s why this video of kids sharing their rights is especially inspiring.

The kids in the North American community talk about enjoying rights such as growing up healthy, being heard and accessing education.

We work with children around the world to ensure their rights are defended in healthy, safe, child-friendly spaces. They’re given the knowledge and tools, so we can partner with them, their community, government and local partners to end harmful practices such as child labour, child marriage and more.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
