What’s his role and connection to the cause?
Dave Wilson brings more than a decade of senior leadership and human-resources experience from employers such as the City of Brampton and the Toronto Police Association.
The collaborative leader is a keen problem solver, trusted advisor and facilitator who has driven transformation by setting strategic direction, developing policy and changing cultures by focusing on relationships and organizational health.
In his role, Dave leads progressive human-resource strategies, including organizational structure and effectiveness, diversity, workforce planning, compensation, talent acquisition and development, employee relations as well as workforce management and company culture.
What academic work set him up for success?
Dave holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Toronto, is designated as a Qualified Arbitrator and holds certificates in Human Resources Law, Human Rights Theory and Practice, Health Law and Adult Education. He’s working towards several other designations, including Certified Human Resources Leader, Qualified Mediator and Certified Change Agent.

Dave enjoys photography, music, hockey and skiing — especially when he gets to pursue these passions with his wife, two sons and daughter.
